"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCOTT"
One year ago today a tiny boy was born,
On August 11, at 4:50 in the morn.
A healthy baby who weighed almost 8 pounds
A bundle of joy making newborn sounds.
He is the first for his grandparents so proud,
And they were ecstatic at his crying so loud.
Now time has really flown by so fast,
Those baby months just never seem to last.
Right away Mike and I adopted this British boy,
The one across the Atlantic, that brings such joy.
We did ask permission to be polite,
And we were accepted....... to our delight.
His first short year has been filled with pain,
From colic, hernia and excema, what a shame.
He is doing much better, thanks to Mom's care,
And Nanny too has done her share.
He's happy and jolly most of the time,
But seems to keep everyone around in line.
Daddy Gee is in the Royal Navy,
And his time is limited, with his first baby.
But He comes home every chance he gets,
And helps to give him love when he frets.
Mommy Lynz welcomes his brief visits,
Happy when he's there, and sad when he isn't.
A happy celebration at the Cropper's home,
For their firstborn, handsome grandson.
Soon he will be running and playing, such fun
But they will remember the day he turned ONE.
