| From No Where to Forever ~ ~ ~ How can I explain the mercy of God so that a child could understand? Or how, when I'm burdened, He holds me in the palm of His mighty hand? So great a love as he has for me, I have not enough words to tell. To think that He has made me an heir, when all I deserved was hell. ~ ~ ~ I was locked away in prisons of fear - filled with self-pity and doubt. When He came with the key of salvation, loosed me and led me out. In the eyes of the world I was nothing...ho, but to Him I was everything He traded my graveclothes for the garments of grace, and sealed me with Heavens ring. ~ ~ ~ He never promised me I'd always have rainbows, no clouds to darken my day But He said He'd never forsake me and he'd see me through all the way His sweet presence is always with me, every minute, in all that I do I was so empty before He came in, and gave me purpose and life anew. ~ ~ ~ My friend, if like me, you are hurting- adrift on life's stormy sea. There's One who is waiting to hear you call out, "Dear Lord, please, help me."
